Sagarmatha Insurance to issue bonus share
KATHAMNDU, JAN 23 - The 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Sagarmatha Insurance Company Ltd. held today has declared to provide bonus share equal to the 10 per cent of the paid capital.
According to a press release issued here today, the insurance had recorded a profit of Rs 16.1 million during the period while it had mobilised premium amounted to Rs 103.8 million.
Speaking on the occasion, Hulash Chandra Golchchha, Chairman of the insurance urged the government to simplify auditing and taxation procedures so as to encourage the taxpayers.
According to him, investment of the insurance climbed up by 11 per cent to touch Rs 100 million during the last fiscal year as compared to the previous year.Posted on: 2004-01-24 02:34
