Business leaders leave for Dhaka
KATHMANDU, JAN 17 - A delegation of Nepalese business leaders today left for Dhaka to participate in an international business conference on Global Economic Governance and Challenges of Multilateralism organized by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Bangladesh.
The delegation comprises ICC Nepal’s President Rajesh Kazi Shrestha, President of Confederation of Nepalese Industry (CNI) Binod Kumar Chaudhary and CNI’s Vice President - Finance Pawan Kumar Golyan.CNI’s Executive Members Sridhar Prasad Acharya, Atmaram Murarka and Haribhakta Sharma are among other members to participate in the conference.According a press releases issued by the ICC Nepal, the conference would be inaugurated by the Bangladeshi Prime Minister on January 17 and would be participated by the representatives of 37 countries including Nepal, France, Italy, United States, India, Thailand and South Korea.
The two-day conference is scheduled to be addressed by the Thai Prime Minister and former Indian Prime Minister I K Gujural, among others.
Similarly, top officials from International Chamber of Commerce, UNITC/UNCTAD/WTO and European Union are also scheduled to participate in the conference.Posted on: 2004-01-18 02:32
