Shocking

JAN 14 - I was shocked by the news that journalist Damakant Jayshi was assaulted by unknown people. I suspect security personnel to be involved in the incident as Jayshi had recently criticised them for their indiscriminate shootings on several occasions.
Salute to Jayshi. We need reporters like him with the courage to criticise the security forces who are now under the shadow of the “unconstitutional” monarch and are acting nonsense in the name of fighting terrorism. It would be wise to take the incident to Amnesty International, Reporters Without Borders, Committee to Protect Journalists, Freedom Forum, etc. so that the culprits do not suceed in giving birth to another Krishna Sen episode.
