KATHMANDU, JAN 13 - Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has signed an agreement with Nepal Television (NTV) to broadcast biz news from the state-owned television amid a function here today.
As per the agreement, NTV will broadcast five-minute biz news during its news period on the subjects like federation’s concepts and the contribution made in the development of economy and trade.
Speaking on the occasion, Binod Bahadur Shrestha, President of FNCCI expressed confidence that the proposed news bulletin will help promote the economic activities in the country. "The FNCCI has made the agreement to this effect, as the information regarding Federation’s activities have not reached among the public broadly," he said.
Chandi Raj Dhakal, First Vice President of FNCCI, said that the access of information regarding the business activities of the Federation would largely be helpful in attracting public’s interest towards the economic activities.Posted on: 2004-01-14 04:04
