HETAUDA, JAN 12 - A five-day eye camp launched under the joint efforts of Rotary Club of Hetauda and Til Ganga Eye Hospital restored vision to 600 people from several districts including Makanwanpur.
A total of 2,900 people had undergone eye test during the camp, which started last Wednesday and concluded today. 600 patients underwent cataract operation in the camp.
The camp received patients from neighbouring districts such as Bara, Parsa, Rautahat and even from Motihari, an Indian district.
A 24-member team led by Dr. Sanduk Ruit, the Chief of Til Ganga Eye Hospital, conducted the operations.Posted on: 2004-01-13 03:51
