Immature act

JAN 09 - Recently, I watched the students protesting against the disrespect shown to the CPN-UML leader Ishwor Pokharel by Indian officials at the Delhi airport. During the course of protest, the students burnt the effigy of the Indian Prime Minister. It was irresponsible. The students should have forced the government to find out the truth and take necessary steps. They should have shown some patience because such actions can strain our friendly relations. We should not forget that India has been our friend since a very long time.
On the part of the government, it should not have treated the protest as a normal one. It should have taken it more seriously. Also, it should take necessary steps to prevent such immature and reckless incidents from happening in the future.
