Children perform one-act play
KATHMANDU, JAN 08 - Children Paradise School (CPS) today staged a "one act play" at its premises in Godavari, a statement from CPS, Godavari stated here today. Inaugurating the event, general secretary of the Nepal National Commission for UNESCO Khagendra Basnyat lauded the contribution of private educational institutions.
He said private educational institutions occupy about 35 percent of the total education sector and they need encouragement to contribute to the country. During the event, students performed a total of four plays, which depicted social evils existing in the society, said the statement.
"The Clever Lawyer", one of the four plays, was declared the winner as it stole the show. BN Sharma, founding principal of CPS, Godavari, also expressed his views on the occasion.Posted on: 2004-01-09 03:49
