KATHMANDU, JAN 04 - Lt Gen Victory SJB Rana (35 points) and Pradip Bikram Rana (36 points) won the title in 0-12 and 13-24 handicap of McDowell’s Signature Swig & Swing tournament today.
The winners of the tournament held at Royal Nepal Golf Club (RNGC) won holiday packages of two nights stay each at Fulbari Resort and Spa, Pokhara. Spandan Lama (33 points) and defending champion Lt Col Bharat Acharya (30 points) were first runner-up and second runner-up in 0-12 while Motilal Bohara (33 points) and Maj Krishna Bahadur Gurung (31 points) came second and third in 13-24 handicap category.
Likewise, Maj Gyan Bhadur Gurung (34 points) edged Vinod SJB Rana (31 points) for senior title while Khadga Jeet Baral (15 points) pushed MP Kesvan (8 points) to the second spot in super senior category. Sabitra Rai won the ladies’ title while Tashi Ghale won the best gross prize with 27 points.
Col Kosh Bahdur Thapa hit the longest drive in the 13th hole while Sher Bahadur Pandey hit closest to the pin in the fifth hole.
