Govt urged to set Gautam free
KATHMANDU, JAN 04 - The Human Rights and Peace Foundation (HURPEF) Nepal has appealed to the government for the life of Guna Raj Gautam, headmaster of Jagriti Secondary School in Pokhari Chauri VDC of Kavre district, who was abducted by masked government security forces on December 23 from Kathmandu.
A statement issued by the HURPEF today said that Gautam who had been staying in Kathmandu on home leave was taken away in the vehicle with the registration number Ba. 1. Cha. 4347 from his house.
His family has appealed to the concerned authority to disclose the whereabouts of Gautam, the statement added.Posted on: 2004-01-05 04:45
