KATHMANDU, JAN 03 - The Special Court today sought Rs 4.5 million bail from the detained Senior Superintendent of Police Basanta Raj Kunwar. Kunwar is in police custody following a court order on Tuesday.
He has been accused of amassing property illegally by the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, the constitutional anti-graft body.
In the chargesheet filed in the court by the CIAA, he has been accused of possessing Rs 8.4 million, the source of which is unknown.Posted on: 2004-01-04 04:51
