POST REPORT

PARBAT, JAN 02 - The family of Basanta Raj Sharma Timilsina, former VDC vice- chairman, has been taking refuge in the house of relatives and neighbours as the Maoists have threatened not to open their house which was locked 17 months back.
The Maoists locked Timilsina’s house on charge of being a government spy.Even after 17 months, none of the concerned authorities have taken initiatives in this regard.
Sunoj Timilsina, a 15-year youngest son of senior Timalsina, came to the headquarters on Wednesday and said, "We have not been able to live in our house for long. We go here and there for shelter. On the father’s so-called crime, we are given this torture."Timilsina’s wife Tejkumari, 11-year old daughter and Sunoj are staying at the neighbour’s house whereas another 17-year old son is living with his relatives in Kaski to continue with his studies.Compelled to leave own house, Basanta Raj has gone to Qatar for employment.
