Reliable security for industries sought
BARA, JAN 01 - Participants at an interaction programme today stressed on a need to beef up the security arrangements for industries located in the district so as to ensure their sustainability.
Speaking at a programme organised by Bara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), they also asked the government to avoid emergence of an environment in which the local industries are compelled to closedown due to deteriorating security situation.
Dinesh Rai of the General Federation of Nepalese Trade Union, said that the continued bomb blasts and attacks by the Maoists in the industries have adversely affected their operations.
Madhav Prasad Regmi, Chief District Officer, Shiva Nath Sharma, Vice-president of Kalaiya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Pulis Yadav, President of Trade Congress Union, Bara, among others, too made deliberations on the occasion. Posted on: 2004-01-01 03:01
