Absence of Ayurved doctors affect patients
SIRAHA, DEC 27 - People of Siraha district have been affected from the absence of Kavirajs (Ayurved doctors) and lack of medicines in the Ayurvedic Treatment Centre at Lahan, the only of the sort in the district established with a view to providing direct health services to the people.
An average of 25 patients visit the centre everyday, where treatment and medicine is provided free of cost, but they now have to return without having proper treatment for the absence of Kaviraj and Baidyas, said local Ram Lakhan Yadav.
Peons at the centre have to handle the patients as Kaviraj Ram Krishna Yadav is absent from the office most of the time, he said. Posted on: 2003-12-28 05:01
