RNA accused of killing unarmed students

POST REPORT

BIRATNAGAR, DEC 27 - The All Nepal National Independent Students Union (Revolutionary) (ANNISU-R) has accused the security forces of killing five people including four unarmed students arrested from the incident site of Sanishcharey of Morang last Tuesday.
Issuing a press release today, the central member of the ANNISU (Revolutionary) Ishwor Dhungana who was believed to have been killed in the same incident has made the allegation.
The ANNISU-R has also condemned the press release brought out by the Eastern Divisional Headquarters of the Royal Nepalese Army on Wednesday that said Dhungana and Sanju were also killed at the incident site.
Though the army has mentioned that both Dhungana and the district member
Sanju Chauhan were dead, both of them are safe and
sound, says the ANNISU-R release.
Protesting the incident the ANNISU-R has announced a week-long closure of all the educational institutions of Morang starting from December 29 to January 2.Posted on: 2003-12-28 04:58
