Locals walk five hours just for a phone call !

BHOJPUR, DEC 25 - People of Bhojpur district have to cross long distance to make a telephone call after the VHF system telephone lines of the district are out of order for the last one year. Local people of Manedanda Village have to walk over five hours to make a call due to the lack of telephone services in the village. The VHF telephone line was out of order last year and it has not been in operation since then. I want to make telephone call as the sons are in foreign countries, Harka Raj Lama , 50, said. Muna Khadka of Chyang Village Development Committee said she had to walk eight hours to make a call.
