Script recital for peace and harmony

POST REPORT

KATHMANDU, DEC 24 - "Transmission of ‘Rinchen Terzod’, the hidden treasure of Buddhist Nyingmapa sect benefits sentient beings both in the present life and after death to attain liberation.", said Dukka Rimpoche.
According to monastic authority in Teen Chuli, Boudha, H.H.Kyabje Vahradhara Moktsa Rimpoche will officiate the ceremony until the text of hidden treasure which is in 63 volumes will be read out daily in front of thousands of devotees. The core of the text relates the story of miracles and spiritual life of revered monks in Tibet some 100 years ago.
Moktsa Rimpoche is the 4th reincarnation of Jamgon Lotethaye Rimpoche who initiated the Rinchin Terzod. "He has so far conducted three of this kind in Tibet and it is being held in Nepal for the first time", observed a resident monk of the monastery.
At the concluding day of the ceremony, monks and devotees are blessed with objects, sacred water and long-life pills that signify body, soul and mind respectively. Dukka Rimpoche hopes this initiation will bring peace and stability in the country.Posted on: 2003-12-25 04:57
