‘Village Security Force’ set up
POKHARA, DEC 20 - Chitra Bahadur Gurung, Lieutenant General here today informed that the government has formed ‘Village Security Force’ in the central divisional headquarters of the Royal Nepal Army (RNA) in order to minimise loss at the security personnel and ensure security to the common people.
Speaking at a programme organised on his farewell, Lieutenant General Gurung said that the government was considering to provide even weapons to those who fight the Maoists. The government has set up the security forces at Pasgaun of Lamjung, Birgunj of Parsa and Dhamkauli of Nawalparasi districts.
