DAMAULI, DEC 17 - With an aim to promote tourism in the district, Tanahu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) is set to construct Jungle Park at Damauli.
As there is no park for recreation of tourists in the district, we have decided to set up park at Byas Municipality, said Mangal Prasad Shrestha, President of TCCI.
A construction committee under the chairmanship of Tej Kumar Malla, former president of TCCI has already been constituted for the purpose.
According to the TCCI, the park will be well equipped and necessary arrangement will be made to see a variety of wild-animals from the park.
Local businessmen, meanwhile, have expressed their willingness to provide financial assistance to help construct the park.
"I am ready to donate Rs 100,000 for the construction purpose," said Narayan Rijal, a local businessman.Posted on: 2003-12-18 03:39
