KATHMANDU, DEC 15 - On the occasion of the Fifth Annual Sushma-Keshav Bhajan Guthi Day, the late singer Nati Kaji was commemorated at a function this afternoon in the Capital. Noted bhajan singers Fatteman, Ganesh Pariyar and Purushottam Sapkota were also felicitated.
The latter three were honoured with the Mahashakti, Mahadev and Mahabuddha awards respectively. On the occasion, which national poet Madhav Prasad Ghimire presided, ‘Tribeni’, a book by the Chief Election Commissioner Keshav Raj Rajbhandari was also released.
Guests at the event included Vice-chancellor of Royal Nepal Academy Mohan Koirala, famed lyricist Kali Prasad Rijal, and singer composer Shiva Shankar Manandhar.Posted on: 2003-12-16 04:39
