KAVRE, DEC 13 - At least three passengers died on the spot while more than 40 were injured when a bus with registration number Ba. 1 Kha 6219 heading for Banepa from Dapcha met with an accident near the bend at Namobuddha area of Kavre district, this afternoon.
The ill-fated bus skidded off the road 100 metres down a slope. Of the injuired, 29 are undergoing treatment at the Scheer Memorial Hospital and the rest at Dhulikhel Hospital. Identity of those killed and injured could not be established.
Meanwhile, in yet another hit and run accident at Sangabhanjyang of the district, a bus knocked a child to death. The deceased’s parents collapsed upon seeing their child dead. Posted on: 2003-12-14 02:52
