RNAC to hire new Boeing
KATHMANDU, DEC 08 - The Royal Nepal Airlines Corporation (RNAC) is all set to hire an aircraft within a month. The aircraft will be hired for four months, before RNAC acquires a new Boeing 757 on lease purchase.
Mohan Khanal, RNAC Managing Director said that the new aircraft is being hired to mitigate the eroding credibility of the corporation, affected largely due to repeated grounding of its two existing Boeings.
The corporation has already incurred losses in millions of rupees within a month mostly owing to stranded passengers and curtailing of flights.Posted on: 2003-12-09 04:28
