NEPALJUNG, DEC 04 - After over a decade, the Silgadhi airstrip in Doti district saw a plane landing following the successful test flight by Royal Nepal Airlines Corporation (RNAC) today.
The airstrip at Silgadhi, the headquarters of Doti district, had remained non-operational for the past 11 years for various reasons.
However, Captain Wai. P. Juharchan, a trainer pilot with the RNAC maintained that the runway is functional though the airstrip has some security lapses. The airstrip is 90 nautical miles from Nepalgunj.Posted on: 2003-12-03 10:41
