ILFC to open remittance office in South Korea
KATHMANDU, DEC 03 - The International Leasing & Finance Company Limited (ILFC), a joint venture with KDB Capital Corporation of Republic of Korea, has said that it would establish a remittance office in South Korea within four months in order to ease the flow of remittance from there to Nepal.
Speaking at a press meet organised here today, Donghyuk Kim, Managing Director of ILFC, said, "We are going to open a remittance office in South Korea within four months."
He said that the company’s first annual general meeting (AGM) with its general public shareholders is expected to approve the distribution of 10 percent of paid-up value cash dividend to its shareholders.The company has planned to raise its paid-up capital to Rs 150 million from Rs 120 million.
The company has an authorised capital of Rs 240 million and issued capital of 120 million. Local promoters have 35 percent, general public 25, KBD Capital Corporation 21 and International Finance Corporation, a subsidiary of the World Bank Group, has 19 percent shares in the finance company.Posted on: 2003-12-02 10:56
