11 kilograms of hashish seized

POST REPORT

KATHMANDU, NOV 30 - Security personnel today seized over 11 kilograms of hashish at the Tribhuvan International Ariport. The consignment hidden inside a drumset made in Nepal was meant to head for Japan via Bangkok on TG 320 flight today.
According to security personnel at the airport, the consignment, sent by Ganga Tamang of Kathmandu, was registered at the airport by the staff of Skynet Courier, and to be received by Prakash Kumar Khatri of Everest Food n’ Spice Center in Japan. Along with the drum were some other Nepali musical instruments.
The police have arrested Prakash Subedi and Prem Shrestha of Skynet Courier for investigation.Posted on: 2003-11-29 11:05
