KATHMANDU, NOV 30 - An unidentified house painter died after falling off the window ~ ~ of a two-storey-house at 2 p.m. today in Bajratol, Jorpati-3. The house belongs to Narendra Bahadur Khadka.
According to Assistant Sub-inspector Tulasi Mahat of Bouddha Ward Police Office, the dead body had not been removed from the spot till late Saturday owing to procedural delays.
In another unfortunate incident in Lalitpur, labourer Madhav Karki, 20, died at 8: 45 a.m. today morning after coming under a landslide in Purna Gravel Factory in Jharuarasi VDC-1.
According to Sub-inspector Tek Bahadur Chand of Lalitpur District Police Office, four labourers were working with Karki on a hillock when a chunk, containing mud and rock, fell off from atop the hillock and crushed Karki, while the others managed to escape.
