Focus on law, order situation in country
JANAKPURDHAM, NOV 26 - At a meet-the-press programme organised here on Monday the security bodies have expressed the determination to guarantee peace and security to the civil society.
Speaking at the programme organised by the Regional Police Unit Office, Janakpur, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Chuda Bahadur Shrestha, said that the security personnel in Dhanusa, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Sindhuli and Ramechhap have been directed to work efficiently for maintaining law and order.
Chief District Officer of Dhanusa, Binod Khanal, said every office has been directed to carry out public service efficiently as per good governance and all offices have also been directed to keep a civil service chart at the main entrance gate.
At the programme, SSP Shrestha also disclosed that all employees at the regional police unit and District Police Office have donated their one day’s salary and cloth and cereals as a relief to the police family whose house was looted by Maoists in Hansapur Kathapulla of Dhanusa.Arrangement has also been made to provide skill-oriented training to the family of the policemen killed during skirmishes with the Maoists.
