KATHMANDU, NOV 25 - The National Federation of Disabled, Nepal presented a memorandum to His Majesty the King seeking fulfilment of their 15-point demand put forward on June 29.
The federation also organised a rally here today in order to accelerate the movement, which has been appealing for solutions to other more recent issues like the freezing of the Disabled Help Fund from 18 November. The meeting-turned rally proposed further plans to resolve the agenda by discussion with the officiating Prime Minister and picketing the Social Welfare Council on 28 November, among others.Posted on: 2003-11-24 09:13
