Bhattarai back a much healthier man

POST REPORT

KATHMANDU, NOV 20 - Nepali Congress (NC) leader Krishna Prasad Bhattarai returned from over a month-long visit to India on Wednesday a healthy and garrulous man.
NC (D) President Sher Bahadur Deuba and other leaders of the party welcomed him at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). There was no one from the mainstream party to receive him.
Talking to reporters at the VVIP lounge, Bhattarai in his inimical style said he would remain with the NC and still stand by Deuba as the leader of the party.
Reacting on whether he had anything to tell King Gyanendra on his return from the India visit, he denied to he anything to say, although he added that the things surrounding the country’s politics were not very bad yet.
"Let us see what happens," is what he quipped when prodded to comment on the internal politics.Posted on: 2003-11-19 09:09
