BCB beat ACC XI
KATHMANDU, NOV 13 - Asian Cricket Council’s Select XI U-19 Dream Team suffered third loss in as many matches at the Khulna Divisional Stadium in Bangladesh today.
Shakti Gauchan top-scored for ACC team with 33 runs with the help of three fours. Kaniska Chaugai and Manjit Shrestha (one four) contributed 10 runs each as ACC Team reached 115 in 39 overs. Bangladesh Cricket Board’s U-15 Development Squad surpassed the total in 17 overs losing just one wicket with Sadad scoring unbeaten half-century. Manjural made useful 46 runs before being run out on a direct hit from Sarad Vesawkar.
ACC team had lost its first one-day match by 30 runs while they lost the second one by 97 runs. So far, their batting performance has been poor, and bowlers are bowling too many extras.
In today’s match too, ACC team dropped too many catches, all by players from other countries than Nepal, after batting poorly in the first innings, informed Vesawkar, a Nepali in the Dream Team.
"We will try to play better in coming matches," said Vesawkar adding that the Dream Team would start afresh for two two-day matches.
