KATHMANDU, NOV 12 - Appellate Court on Tuesday gave a verdict to Nepal Bank Limited to make an auction on Mount Everest Brewery company.
The auction of the company will probably be held on November 14. A division bench of judges— Girish Chandra Lal and Madhu Sudan Shrestha handed down the permission note to the bank following a hearing today. Earlier, a single bench at the court had issued a stay-ordered preventing the bank from auctioning the company. Advocates Sambhu Thapa, Anup Raj Sharma and Kumar Regmi pleaded on behalf of the bank whereas Badri Bahadur Karki and Komal Ghimire defended the brewery company. Posted on: 2003-11-11 09:08
