Deprox Nepal changes life standard

POST REPORT

RAHAUTAHAT, NOV 08 - Community Underground Irrigation Sector Programme (CUISP) that has been conducted by Deprox Nepal in 12 districts in plain region has changed the life standards of local farmers.
Following its programme, the farmers now have been able to largely increase agro-products, as they have an access to boring machine for the irrigation.
The local farmers said that the agro-production went up largely, as they became able to irrigate the farms using boring machine. "My paddy productions has increased by double this year due to the irrigation facility," said Chandra Sekhar, a local farmer.
The Deprox Nepal has been running the programme from the grant assistance of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Canadian International Development Association (CIDA).
