Maoists blame govt forces for Tulsipur killings
KATHMANDU, NOV 04 - The CPN-Maoist has accused the government forces of killing innocent bus passengers at
Tulsipurof Dang district on October 30. "There was no presence of the Maoists when three civilians travelling in the bus were shot dead by the government forces," Maoist spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara said.
In a statement dated November 3, Mahara said that the Maoists had no plan to attack
on the security forces in Tulsipur, neither was there any presence of the Maoist militia that evening. Mahara also urged journalists to verify the facts before reporting any incident.Posted on: 2003-11-03 09:19
