KIRTIPUR, NOV 03 - The Tribhuwan University (TU) is to undertake strict monitoring and inspection to maintain educational standard in the campuses of the Kingdom which are running higher education by receiving affiliation from TU. This new rule is being introduced by TU as no contact was made by other departments, though coordination was made in medical and engineering education as per the TU regulations.
Some 222 campuses have received the affiliation from TU since 2037 BS. A four-member monitoring committee has been formed under the convenorship of rector Prof. Dr Mahendra singh, which will prepare report by monitoring the campuses.
The affiliated campuses under the Faculty of Humanities, Management and Education will have to pay one month’s fees to TU in a year.Posted on: 2003-11-02 10:47
