Flores parachuted into Holland with Headquarters Company 1st Battalion 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, near Eindhoven, Sept. 17, 1944. Veterans of the invasion of Holland came to the Netherlands from around the World for the 65th anniversary of the largest airborne assault in history, Operation Market Garden.
