KATHMANDU, NOV 04 - Three-wheeler owners have called off their strike scheduled to take place on Thursday.
"We have suspended our protest and called off the strike after the Supreme Court's (SC) stay order to not implement the decision of phasing out LPG-run three-wheelers," said Ram Kumar Blon, chairman of the Self-employment Transportation Entrepreneurs Association and coordinator of the struggle committee, at a press conference on Wednesday. "All protests will be suspended until the Court reaches a final verdict."
The committee filed a petition against the government decision at the Supreme Court on Monday.
