Pilatus Porter meets with an accident at Syangboche

The aircraft was preparing to take off when it collided with a wall along the runway at around 8:45 this morning.
SOLUKHUMBU, NOV 04 - An aircraft of Tara Air met with an accident at Syangboche Airport in the Khumbu-region on the lap of Mt. Everest on Wednesday. Two crew members and five passengers boarding the Pilatus Porter escaped the accident unharmed.
Tara Air informed that the 9N AIU aircraft's tail, tyres and right wing have been damaged.
According to Tara Gurung, an eyewitness, the aircraft was preparing to take off when it collided with a wall along the runway at around 8:45 this morning.
It was taking off for Kathmandu ferrying five tourists.
The crew and passengers were rescued immediately. They returned to Kathmandu boarding a Dynasty Air’s helicopter today itself.
Technical problems are suspected to be the cause of accident.
With a fleet of eight aircraft, the Tara Air started its scheduled flights since mid-September this year.
