AFC U-19 qualifiers: Nepal slump to humiliating defeat

Nepal had to settle with three points from five matches and they finished last in their group.
KATHMANDU, NOV 04 - Nepal slumped to a humiliating defeat against Palestine in their last match of the AFC U-19 Group ‘A’ qualifiers on Wednesday.
Having already been out of the contention for advancing to the next round, Nepal lost 4-1 to Palestine in a match played for pride at the Dasrath Stadium in Kathmandu.
With today’s loss, Nepal had to settle with three points from five matches and they finished last in their group.
Meanwhile, the undefeated Jordan emerged as the group leaders collecting 13 points from five matches, Tajikistan finished second with nine points.
Jordan and Tajikistan have qualified for the next round.
