SUNSARI, NOV 04 - More than two dozen people including six police personnel have been injured in a clash ensued at Sunsari District Administration Office (DAO) in Inaruwa on Wednesday.

Similarly, clashes have ensued between the protesters and the police in different parts of the country. Clashes have reportedly occurred in Nuwakot’s district headquarter Bidur and Dolakha’s district headquarter Charikot also.
Maoist cadre Radhika Tamang has been critically injured in a clash with the police at Nuwakot DOA.
The cadres of agitating Unified CPN (Maoist) picketed the DAO across the country as a part of their second phase of agitation this morning.
The DAO officials could not enter the office as the Maoist cadres staged a sit-in outside the DAO offices at around 9.30 am.
Prior to picketing the DAO, the protestors had launched rallies from different places in the capital.
The sit-in will continue within office hours today and on Thursday as well, said the Maoists.
According to the security personnel, security measures have been adopted and large numbers of security forces have been deployed to avoid any unpleasant incidents during the protest.
