MYAGDI/CHITWAN, OCT 02 - Three people have been missing in the Kali Gandaki and Narayani rivers since Wednesday night. Police in Myagdi said Nitu Shrestha of Kathmandu, the wife of Dinesh Shrestha, fell into the Kali Gandaki after the motorbike her husband was driving skidded off the road and fell some 100 meters down.
They were returning to Kathmandu after their Muktinath trip. Dinesh however clung on a cliff and managed to save himself.
In the Narayani River, a man and his father have gone missing. Birat Aryal and his son Biraj Aryal of Chitwan went to take a bath in the river at 4 p.m. Biraj was suddenly swept away by the river while bathing and his father was also swept away while trying to save him.
