"Leave the issue of toppling the government. Homework is being carried out to make all the 26 parties participate in the government," he said.
Mentioning the present government can be called successful than the previous one if all the working days are calculated, he added progress has been made from all the sectors such as revenue collection to peace and security situation.
He urged the Maoists to leave behind the strategy of making the government unsuccessful and participate in it by presenting itself responsibly in drafting the new constitution.
On the occasion, Minister Pandey said internal dispute within the UML has not affected in running the government. He also urged the party activists not to get involved in such dispute.
The closed session that took place till late night yesterday could not elect leadership unanimously, thus, election for the leadership has been scheduled for today. It has been learnt that Oli panel and Khanal panel will have tough competition for the leadership. Jagannath Thapaliya from Oli panel and Krishna Khanal from Jhalanath panel are competing for the leadership.
