Khurkot-Nepalthok stretch waits clearance

SINDHULI, SEP 11 - The Khurkot-Nepalthok road stretch along the BP Highway has been obstructed for over a month due to landslide at various places of the road stretch.

According to the locals, the transportation has not resumed as the debris at several places along the 35 km-long road stretch has not been cleared yet.

Due to the obstruction, no vehicles have plied the Highway.

Lack of resources and equipments have affected the locals' efforts to clear the road, said Sharad Acharya, a local of Khurkot adding that the concerned body has not given any due attention to resume the Highway.
