Vote counting kicks off in various places
KATHMANDU, NOV 20 -
Vote counting has kicked off in various districts on Wednesday.
SSP Ganesh KC, spokesperson of police headquarters, said that about 80 percent of the ballot boxes have been collected while collection of boxes is still on in some remote parts of the country. KC said that all the ballot boxes will be flown to district headquarters in a chopper by 12 noon today.
Vote counting was scheduled to begin at 8 this morning. However, as it has to go through various processes, it has been delayed.

KATHMANDU: Vote counting has started of Kathmandu constituency 1,2 and 4 at Constituent Assembly hall in New Baneshwor. Huge crowd can be seen outside CA hall.
CHITWAN: Counting of votes under the Constituent Assembly election will start from 12 noon today in Chitwan as all the ballot boxes are yet to reach the venue.
POKHARA: Vote counting is due to start in Kaski within few minutes. For this, an all party meeting has been called at the office of chief election officer. All the ballot boxes reached the vote counting office at around 1.45 last night. Kaski has four constituencies.
DHANKUTA: The vote counting has kicked off in Dhankuta from 10 Wednesday morning.
JHAPA: Preparations are underway to count vote in Jhapa district from 10 this morning. According to Chief Election Officer Ramesh Kumar Khatri, vote counting will be held at the main office of chief election officer in contituencty-1, district development office in 2 and 4 and others.
TAPLEJUNG: According to Chief Election Officer Prakash Poudel, the ballot boxes will reach the district within tonight.
MORANG: The vote counting at Biratnagar-9 Adarsha Higher Secondary School will kick off from 11 this morning. All the ballot boxes reached the venue within 9 last night.
