Gachhadar confident about 'Don' Lama's election win
KATHMANDU, MAY 31 - Madhesi Janadhikar Forum – Loktantrik (MJF-L) Chairman Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar has claimed that famous 'Don' and MJF-L Central Committee member Ganesh Lama would win in the upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) election.
Claiming that Lama would stand in the election from Kavre, Gachhadar said that he would not be ousted from the party just because some people accused him of being a criminal.
Accusing the government of being prejudice against Lama, Gachhadar said that the government is conspiring against him to quaver the confidence of the party. "Lama's case is completely prejudiced. The government is conspiring to bring down the morale of the party," said Gachhadar.
Lama along with Dipak Manange, Parshuram Basnet, Chakre Milan and Abhishek Giri has been accused of amassing illegal property through hooliganism by the Department of Money Laundering Investigation (DMLI). They have been asked to appear before the Special Court within 15 days.
According to DMLI, Lama has amassed a property (over Rs 270 million), the highest among the five 'Dons, through illegal means.
