KATHMANDU, FEB 22 - The health condition of former crown prince Paras Shah , who suffered a heart attack on Tuesday in Bangkok, is deteriorating, sources said.
Shah's health has worsened futher as compared to Thursday, Nepali Embassy in Thailand said, quoting hospital sources.
Shah was admitted at Samitivej Hospital in Bangkok after he suffered cardiac arrest last Tuesday. Shah had a history of heart disease—he underwent a surgery after suffering a mild attack in September 2007.
Shah had reportedly stopped taking medications prescribed for his heart condition, which led to the attack, sources said.
ACT scan performed on Shah’s brain on Thursday had also shown a mild form of infection.
"As per the information provided by the hospital, Shah is in critical condition, we have not received any news as being rumored outside, said Deputy Chief of the Nepali mission in Thailand Dornath Aryal, in a telephonic conversation with ekantipur team.
Meanwhile, Shah's wife Himani Shah took a Thai Airways flight to Bankgok at around 1:50 this afternoon.
