BANKE, FEB 17 - CPN-Maoist General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa has said that the importance of the political parties has finished as the major parties have agreed to form an election government under the leadership of chief justice.
Addressing a program at Khajura of Banke district on Sunday, Thapa said that the agreement is a conspiracy. "Forming a chief justice-led government is unconstitutional. The major parties have betrayed the people again," said Thapa.
Thapa further accused the major party leaders of making agreements for the sake of staying in power. "The decision is unconstitutional and affected by foreign forces. The parties have ended their own importance by agreeing to it," said Thapa.
Claiming that the decision would worsen the political situation of the nation, Thapa said that the parties are pushing the nation towards political mire rather than solving the deadlocks. "The decision has elated political instability," said Thapa.
