'Govt will step down after agreement on electoral govt'
BARDIBAS, FEB 14 - Deputy Prime Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha has said that the government would step down immediately after the parties forge a consensus on formation of the new election government.
Inaugurating the Integrated Service Centre at Bardibas on Thursday, Shrestha said that talks among the political parties taking place continuously since the past week has increased the possibility of a consensus.
According to Shrestha, the parties have agreed to hold the Constituent Assembly election within May but the debate on the leadership was still not solved.
Also, DPM Shrestha said that even the Gaushala bazaar of the district would have the Integrated Service Centre within two weeks. The Integrated Service Centre of Bardibas is expected to benefit the people in the northern belt of the district.
"With this, the people have got rid of the hassles and inconvenience in receiving government services. The district headquarters is 45-km away from Bardibas. The establishment of the Centre has not only saved service seekers' time but money too," said Shrestha.
