INARUWA, JAN 11 - Nepali Congress (NC) Central Working Committee member Sujata Koirala said that the NC leaders have to quit their greed for premiership if they are to save the nation from the political mire.
Koirala also said that the power-greed of the NC leaders has endangered the democracy of the nation.
Inaugurating a program at Inaruwa on Friday, Koirala claimed that the nation is much important than premiership. "At a time when the parties have failed to forge consensus, NC leaders should rake the responsibilities of guardians and save the nation. There should not be any ego clash. Rather, we should join the government and make the situation work," said Koirala.
Former foreign minister Koirala also claimed that foreign forces have grown their influence in the nation and said that it is a matter of shame for all Nepalese.
