Govt to forward inclusion bill to prez
KATHMANDU, JAN 08 -
The government on Tuesday decided to forward an ordinance aimed at making government services inclusive and another ordinance concerning organised crimes before the President's office.
A Cabinet meeting held this morning made such decision to this effect.
Likewise, the Cabinet also appointed Yubaraj Pandey as the new Vice Chairman of Poverty Alleviation Fund . Pandey was appointed following Janak Raj Pandey's resignation.
The meeting also approved the resignation of Ministry of Industry Joint Secretary Laxman Bhattarai, Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun informed.
Likewise, the meeting decided to provide relief package to the families who lost their lives due to recent cold waves in Tarai region.
According to Pun, each of the households affected by the cold wave would will be provided and local administration and locals will be deployed to distribute the relief.
Also, the meeting decided to turn the Tribhuvan University to Central University.
The government also decided to send the report submitted by the taskforce formed to resolve the disputes regarding the transactions of land carried out by the Maoists during the insurgency to the concerned committee in the Cabinet .
