KATHMANDU, DEC 27 -
Everest Bank Limited (EBL) on Wednesday appointed former Miss Nepal Sadichha Shrestha as its brand ambassador to promote its products and services.
On the occasion, the bank launched a new deposit product called Sadichha Deposit targeting youngsters to encourage them to make regular savings for future investments. This is a recurring type of deposit in which the children are given 0.50 percent additional interest over the normal published rate.
In addition, the bank will contribute Rs 5 for every new account opened to raise funds for helpless and needy people. The money will be donated to orphanages, schools and child activists at the bank’s annual day function.
