KATHMANDU, AUG 30 - Actress Sanchita Luitel, who had been admitted at the Intensive Care Unit of the Norvic Hospital in Kathmandu, was transferred to the general ward on Thursday.
According to the hospital sources, Luitel was admitted to the hospital for high blood pressure on Tuesday.
Luitel had given birth to a daughter on August 20 and was discharged four days later. “We took her to Dr Jyoti Agrawal’s clinic after her blood pressure increased. Then we took her to Norvic on Dr Agrawal’s recommendation,” said Shivani Luitel, Sanchita’s sister.
However, after some treatment her condition has improved and she has been transferred to the general ward on Wednesday, Shivani notified. “Her condition has improved since yesterday. But she is still not good enough to be discharged,” Shivani said.
Luitel’s husband and Nepali Superstar Nikhil Uprety has also arrived in the Capital today afternoon. He was in Mumbai.
